Use this joke when you want to point out the danger of stereotyping (substitute Robin for your favourite stereotype).
| Robin was unemployed and had few qualifications, so he decided to apply for a job as a labourer at a local building site. The foreman wasn't too sure about Robin's experience, so he decided to ask him a simple test question: What is the difference between a girder and joist? That's easy, replied Robin, Goethe wrote Faust and Joyce wrote Ulysses! |
